AGARTALA, Dec 6 (TIWN): Amid heavy rain acting on tip-off Police of PR Bari PS destroyed above 400 cannabis plants at Anandapur area.

Police of PR Bari PS, based on secret information, raided at Anandapur area in Rajnagar and destroyed above 400 cannabis plants by setting them on fire.

The rampant trade of cannabis cultivation in South Tripura has often come to the notice of the PR Bari PS police. Sometimes the accused drug traffickers are detained, and sometimes anti-Cannabis operations are carried out on the basis of secret information. But amid anti-cannabis operations the cannabis traffickers and cultivators are showing thumbs to the Police.
