AGARTALA, Dec 6 (TIWN): With the slogan "Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas", BJP had crossed the hurdle of the 2018 Assembly elections, but despite the change of government the villagers of Datta para Ward No-6 under Belabar Panchayat are deprived of development.
Reportedly many families are living in the Datta Para area for a long time but there is no proper road in the area and also no bridge is available to connect the main road.
The locals have to cross the road on the bamboo-made bridge. The area is also yet cut off electricity connections.
Several times the local informed local BJP leader cum Belabar Panchayat Samiti member Tapan Dutta and Belabar Panchayat head Kinkar Mandal but no Positive response the villagers have received. Oppositely the villagers were allegedly asked to pay Rs 10,000 for the road repairing which has erupted resentments.
