AGARTALA, December 28 (TIWN): The BAC meeting at Jampuijala presided by the Rural Deveopement Minister Naresh Jamtia decided to set the average of 45 mandays at Jampuijala Block under the centrally sponsored MGNREGA scheme within the month of January 15 next.

The Jampuijala Block BDO Gideon Molsom informed that during the financial year 2013-14 at least 3 lakhs 34 thousands and 884 mandays has been fixed for several developemental works under the MGNREGA at Jampuijala.

The BAC meeting was held on December 26 at Jampuijala Block conference hall and was presided by the Rural Development Minister Naresh Jamatia, where a discussion was staged over the progress of several developmental works of 25 ADC village committee of Jampuijala Block under MGNREGA scheme.

During the meeting Minister Naresh Jamatia urged the concerned village committee secretary, GRS and the public representatives to be more active in playing role in the developmental works of the state.

However during the meeting on December 26 at Jampuijala RD Block, BAC Chairman Ramendra Debbarma, several Village Committee Chairman, Sipahijala District ADM along with other representatives remained present.
