AGARTALA, Dec 5 (TIWN): Terminated 10,323 teachers have been suffering since they had lost their jobs. The victim teachers earlier at the end of Dec 2020 protested over 2 months demanding their lost job back. In the protest spot State Govt by deploying Police and Central force vandalized their protest spot and also the agitating teachers were beaten up brutally by Lathi charge. Along with lathi-charge, Police on January 27, 2021 used water cannons on them to remove them from the agitation spot.
The terminated teachers several times requested Govt to return their lost Jobs as per the pre-election promise of the BJP Govt. With all those issues JMC committee organized Press Meet in Agartala where they declared they will move for Protest again demanding their Job back.
The terminated teachers said, ”We will start protest again and we agree to die, but will not return home without getting Jobs”.
“Due to faulty recruitment process Teacher lost their job but with the same recruitment process the 2012 Science teachers are continuing their jobs........how?” asked Bijoy Krisha Saha, a terminated teacher and JMC leader.
"If the state Govt wants to return our jobs by considering Para-127 then the Govt can do it", he added.
