AGARTALA, Dec 3 (TIWN): An active member of CPI-M Party was brutally beaten up at Jirania by BJP miscreants on Thursday evening. Former CM Manik Sarkar rushed to Hospital after receiving the news. Sarkar has condemned the attack.
The injured active worker of CPI-M identified as Samiran Kar, resident of Khayerpur, Rajdhan Nagar area. He was brutally beaten up by local ruling party miscreants while Kar went to Marker to buy gift from a shop. The miscreants gheraoed him and beaten him up inside the shop with rods. Police brought him to Hospital. Reportedly 15 stitches were needed on head.
To know the injured CPI-M worker's health condition former CM, Manik Sarkar rushed to the Hospital and condemned the attack. It was known that Samiran Kar was returned from the vote center in Municipal Poll and was not allowed to cast Vote.
Samiran Kar was earlier attacked several times by BJP goons and miscreants had also set fire on his home.
However, the injured man has identified the 6 miscreants who organized the attack.
