AGARTALA, Nov 30 (TIWN): Former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has cast doubt on Tripura’s existence on the Indian map as in this Poll people’s voting right was nakedly snatched in front of the Police and keeping the Election Commission paralyzed.

“It was not a poll. If we say, the poll was rigged, it will be less to express the real experience. The poll was only on pen and paper and now people have failed to cast votes questioning whether Tripura is a part of India or not”, said Manik Sarkar.

“The fascist Govt was established by BJP. In the Lok Sabha Election also, the poll was rigged, booths were captured and last, in this Municipal Poll, people have seen what happened”, said Manik Sarkar.

The statement came amid massive poll rigging, booth capturing happened in this Municipal Poll in Tripura and after 10 am no presiding officer, no opposition polling personnel were allowed to stay inside the booths in maximum places and massive fake votes were cast and voters were told that their votes were cast. Even after having evidence, State Election Commission acted as a ‘slave’ to the BJP party goons.
