AGARTALA, Nov 26 (TIWN): Miserable conditions gripped 10,323 teachers amid the death toll has raised to 115.

An undergraduate teacher named Swapan Debnath (46) old died without getting proper treatment due to financial crisis after being diagnosed with cancer. The teacher left his last breaths at his residence in Sabroom.

JMC condoled the teacher’s death. It is known after job loss the teacher Swapan Debnath broke down mentally due to financial crisis as he was the sole bread earner of his family.

JMC member Kamal Deb said that many teachers are at home with illnesses and due to the financial crisis they are unable to get treatment. JMC again requested the Govt not to lengthen more the Terminated teachers issue and to take initiative to solve teachers' issue immediately.
