AGARTALA, Nov 23 (TWIN): Ahead of Municipal Poll BJP miscreants led by Ranjit Majumder allegedly fired on a TMC Candidate of Ward No. 1 of Agartala Municipal Corporation on late last night.

The victim TMC candidate Gouri Majumder alleged BJP miscreants first vandalized her house and then started kicking on her door. She noticed Ranjit Majumder a BJP member was there with the goons. Ranjit allegedly fired at her house and escaped from the spot. Also 2 bullets were recovered from her house.

After receiving the information, Police of West PS and security forces rushed to the spot for investigation. So far nobody was arrested.
