AGARTALA, Oct 20 (TIWN): BJP miscreants have allegedly attacked the Trinamool Congress (TMC) activists in two different places in the state. According to the party statement, the first attack took place at Sushil Modok’s house at Khowai’s Jambura Village and the second attack took place at Dulal Das’s shop at Khayerpur Banikya Chowmuhani. Both of the persons’ houses were vandalized and both of them, including their family members, were beaten up. Both the injured persons are admitted in hospital.Reacting over the incident TMC convener Subal Bhowmik said that a jungle is going on in Tripura and as per the CM’s statement police would not safeguard the people and also will not take action against the attackers.

“FIR was lodged but at first police were unready to lodge the FIR also. The state has been given in the hands of hooligans, mafias. No law and order exists anymore. Police needs CM's permission to lodge FIR”, said Subal Bhowmik.
