AGARTALA, Oct 20 (TIWN): Tripura Karmachari Samannoy Committee has criticized the BJP led State Govt over its deprivation to the Govt employees. The committee also criticized the Govt for removing the life-time pension scheme. It said, when for the employees NPS has started, but for Ministers the previous benefits of pensions are remaining and thus the life-time pension scheme must be restored for regular employees. The employees body stated on Tuesday that instead of giving 7th Pay Commission or Scale, the Govt has fully deprived the employees, specially the teachers but in propaganda it is claiming just the opposite.
But by doing so, it only erupted resentment and mockeries over baseless claims. Addressing the media in a press conference, Tripura Rajya Karmachari Committee said, “By only increasing 0.32 the Govt tried to impress the employees. Moreover, all employees did not get any hike.
DAs are highly pending. There is no hope among the contractual employees for regularization under lower divisions like DRW like posts. So before the Govt propagates employee benefits, it must think twice. The CM is also delivering factually fabricated statements over pay scales”.
The statement of the employees body gets a ground as Tripura BJP before the 2018 poll promised to give 7th Pay Commission after the first cabinet meeting and salaries will be doubled and for high posts more than doubles, but neither 7th Pay nor DA was cleared and in comparison to the previous Govt’s DA system around 25% DA are still pending.
BJP also promised to regularise all contractual employees of the state as soon as the party will form the Govt.
