AGARTALA, Oct 19 (TIWN): A 15 years old boy entered in a house at Advisor Chowmuhani area to steal rods and was caught red handed by local people. The locals tied him to a pole on road side and informed Police.

The minor boy is a resident of Border Golchakkar area. He admitted later that he entered in the house to steal rod to satisfy his hunger.  

However, the house owner said contraband items were recovered from the minor’s pocket. He also said recently several theft incidents occurred in his house. The theft incident was caught on CCTV camera.

The house owner said Police should take strict action against the minor thief.

Oppositely centering the theft incident in broad daylight in crowded area generated panic among local common people.
