AGARTALA, Oct 19 (TIWN): Drug consumption gripped among young aged youths in the state.

Another such incident was reported, where two youths were caught red handed with huge amounts of contraband items and syringes on Tuesday morning at Shashankhala in Ambagan area, Bishalgarh.

The detained two youths have been identified as Sourav Majumder, resident of Raghunathpur and Akash Sina, resident of Lalshimura. Later on receiving the information Bishalgarh Police rushed to the spot and arrested the two accused youths.

Arrested Sourav Majumder said the contraband items he had taken from Agartala.

Locals raised allegations that often youths consume drugs in Shashankhala ground.
