BISHALGARH, Oct 19 (TIWN): Amid “Nesha Mukt'' Tripura slogans and tall claims of the Chief Minister, Tripura in reality is reeling under the regime of drug-mafias ruining the young generation. Two Drug-Consumers have been caught by Bishalgarh locals red-handed on Tuesday morning from the Crematorium area (also known as Smashan-Khala). Immediately the local informed the about the incident. Getting information, Bishalgarh police rushed to the spot and detained the both youths. The two youths who have been detained with drugs are : 1) Sourav Majumder, resident of Raghunathpur and 2) Akash Sinha, resident of Lalshimura.
It has been known that drug consumption has been going on in the Bishalgarh Ambagan area for a long time.
Although the detained youths said that they are not connected to drug smuggling and are only consumers, now police will verify the fact.
