AGARTALA, Oct 17 (TIWN): A vehicle registered number- TR-01W-1891 hit hardly railing of a bridge while returning to Agartala carrying sound system box, and other machinery orchestra items. The incident took place on Sunday morning on the Sabrum-Agartala NH adjacent to Don Bosco Kali Mandir in Dewanbazar under Bishramganj Police Station.

Three people were seriously injured, Bikash Das, Litan Barman, resident of AD Nagar Bhattapukur area, Mahadev Roy, a resident of Amtali Ashwini Market area.

Immediately after the incident, Bishramganj Fire Brigade personnel rescued the injured and took them to Bishramganj Primary Hospital, later noticing critical condition the on duty Doctors referred the injured to Agartala GB hospital.

It is learned that Liton Barman, a resident of AD Nagar Bhatt Pukur area, died while being brought to GB Hospital. As soon as this news spread, the shadow of mourning descended in Bhatta Pukur area.
