AGARTALA, Oct 16 (TIWN): Amtali police have arrested seven Bangladeshi Nationals from a house in Siddharth Ashram area of ??Agartala. The house owner is identified as Sukesh Sarkar.
According to the details, this morning the police of Amtali Police Station received a secret information that seven Bangladeshi nationals were working in the Sukesh Sarkar's house in Agartala Siddhi Ashram Santnagar area.
Upon receiving the news, the police of Amtali police station went to Sukesh Sarkar's house, arrested the 7 persons and brought them to Amtali police station. After questioning the seven Bangladeshi nationals arrested by the police, police couldn't find any valid documents from them.
The seven arrested persons are identified as Shafiqul Islam(36), Mohammad Mamun Hossain (34), Abdul Munaf Ali (40), Abdul Razzak (32), MD Hannan (31), MD Rezan Hossain (39), and MD Nazrul Islam (31).
The whole area is in turmoil due to this incident. Locals are beginning to question how the homeowner Sukesh Sarkar can keep Bangladeshi nationals illegally.
