AGARTALA, Oct 16 (TIWN): The festival season has not yet ended in Tripura and many other states as Kojagari Laxmi puja and Deepavali festivals are still on schedule. Laxmi idols have been decked up in markets and artisans are busy in making more Laxmi idols.

As soon as the Vijaya Dasami ended, preparations for Kojagiri Laxmi puja started which will be observed on October 19.

Households are busy purchasing Laxmi idols for home.

Laxmi is the Goddess of wealth and prosperity. In general Brahmin priests visit home to home and chant Laxmi mantra and offer prayers to the Goddess.
