AGARTALA, Oct 12 (TIWN): Durga puja Maha-Saptami was observed in clubs, temples across Tripura. In Agartala Durga Bari also like every year, Durga puja was observed with full enthusiasm. However, due to Covid situation, no “Anjali” was allowed this year. Last year also, keeping the Covid situation, no “Anjali” was allowed. Talking to the priest at Agartala Durga Bari, he said, “Due to Covid situation, this year also, like the previous year, we are not allowing Anjali. But following all the rituals, we have been observing Durga puja with full devotion”.
However, due to the High Court’s order, animal sacrifices have been stopped in Agartala Durga Bari.
