AGARTALA, Sep 30 (TIWN): Apu Das, who attacked a woman in Rabindra Bhawan area's parking zone, was arrested and sent to jail.

He assaulted the woman after she sought a parking charge from him. According to him, as he is a BJP leader, everything will go as per his wish.

After that he also misbehaved with journalists and his family member used slang words against the parking staff woman.

The victim woman was not only assaulted physically but was mentally harassed in front of everyone. After she lodged a case, police arrested Apu Das and the Court sent him to jail custody.
