AGARTALA, Sep 30 (TIWN): Successful Spinal Cord Tumour Operation was conducted in the GB hospital of Agartala.

Reportedly, one 18 years old girl Moushumi Barman, D/O-Dipali Barman had been suffering through heavy pains due to a giant sized tumour in her spinal cord. She was taken to outside the state but due to heavy financial demands of the hospital, her family could not bear her treatment cost. They returned to Tripura.

She was diagnosed again here and after that a successful operation was completed by GB hospital Doctors led by Surgeon Sidda Reddy.

The tumour size was 360 gm in weight and 13X11 cm in size.

The department of neurosurgery has conducted 499 surgeries in GB hospital.
