AGARTALA, Sep 27 (TIWN): Deprived Cleaning staff today gathered before Medical superintendent office and demanded their pending salaries. The staff have been cleaning Hostel, Doctor’s residential hostel, AGMC building but they have been deprived from getting salaries since April month. Agency owner has been giving little amount of money to the cleaning staff with an assurance that the pending salaries will be given after it gets sanctioned from the Higher Authorities.

Over deprivation since long time cleaning staff with huge resentment said that if their pending salaries will not be paid before 5^th October then they would not continue their work. And if their salaries are not given they will sit-in-demonstration as protest before AGMC, GBP Medical Superintendent’s office.

Now it remains to be seen whether the Poor cleaning staff will get their 6 months pending salaries before Durga Puja or not.
