AGARTALA, Sep 28 (TIWN): Based on secret information Teliamura Police recovered 210 kg dried cannabis from a Truck in Tulasikhar area, Khowai.

Teliamura Traffic unit received secret information of loading dried cannabis in Tulasikhar area, Khowai. . Based on this secret information Teliamura Police officials led a search operation in vehicles at Tulasikhar area and recovered 210 Kg dried cannabis from a Truck register Number- JK02A02557 while smuggling.

Teliamura Police officials seized the cannabis and detained the Truck driver. The truck driver has been identified as Prabin Kumar resident of Jammu.

The cannabis was loaded with an intention of smuggling to Bihar, said an on-duty Police official.
