AGARTALA, Sept 25 (TIWN): Robbery, theft cases are increasing across the state, everyday such crimes generating panic among common people. Again a daring robbery incident occurred at Bhati Abhaynagar near Shiva Shani Mandir in broad daylight.

Reportedly a woman named Manju Deb while entering her house, two young men followed her and suddenly snatched gold chain from her neck and pushed her. On hearing her shouting neighbours rushed to the spot.

If the locals had not come on the spot on that time, the thieves would have taken other belongings too, said the victim woman.

The woman also received injuries in her hand.

After sometime, the Durga Chowmuhani outpost Police came to the spot for investigation. Increasing such crimes raising various questions on the security of common people.
