AGARTALA, Sep 24 (TIWN): A young boy named, Sagar singh from Damdama area, Sabroom set fire intentionally to a parked vehicle in petrol pump and escaped immediately. The entire incident caught in CCTV footage.

Around 10 pm last night local people in Damdama area adjacent to Sabrum's Youth Power Club suddenly noticed a massive fire broke out from a parked vehicle registered No- TR034208 at MS Shubhakankhi filling station. Immediately the local people informed the fire incident to the Fire Department and accordingly fire Service personnel rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control.

After checking CCTV footage, it was caught that a young man named Sagar Singh from the Damdama area torched the vehicle and fled from the spot. However, Police at night detained the youth and took him to the Sabroom PS.

If the fire was not brought under control then major accidents could happen in the Petrol pump area.
