AGARTALA, Sep 23 (TIWN): A young boy residing in Nadia district, West Bengal was detained by Teliamura Police in connection with the abduction of a 16 years old girl.

The arrested youth has been identified as Pradeep Ruhi Das, S/o- Shaktipada Ruhi Das, a resident of Balidanga, Faridpur in Nadia district of Kolkata. The abducted 16 years old minor girl was rescued after 6 months of abduction

The minor girl was rescued successfully on Wednesday night by tracing Mobile Phone location.

The detained accused will be produced before Khowai court.

Pritam Datta, SI of Teliamura PS said, both the young were introduced through Social Media.
