AGARTALA, Sep 22 (TIWN): Dilapidated condition of school was reported in Prabhapur SB School in ADC Village under Jampuijala RD Block.

Talking to a school teacher it has been known the school remains in terrible shape due to shortage of drinking water, shortage of School teacher and also there are no adequate benches for School students. Students have to sit on floor and to continue classes.

Moreover, the total number of students in this school from class I to VIII is 86 and out of which 44 are primary students and for these 44 students only 2 teachers are taking classes. And for the remaining 42 students there are only 3 teachers.

Due to shortage of teachers, teachers have to take different classes together, which is causing extreme disruption in the studies of the students.

The students, teachers and parents demanded the State Govt should take initiative to improve the educational infrastructure of the school.
