The decision came amid Trinamool Congress had appealed for a rally’s permission in the High Court after being rejected 3 times by Tripura police to organize a rally in the state. Tripura Govt was issued with a notice from the High Court yesterday about police’s dilemma on Abhishek Banerjee’s rally permission. Today was the final hearing date and Tripura Govt lawyers have submitted a report on behalf of the Govt which banned all rallies, meeting up to Diwali that is November 4 in the Sadar.
