AGARTALA, Sep 19 (TIWN): Illicit trade to illicit activity gripped in the state, Police arrested 5 gamblers red-handed based on secret information from Battala area with gambling equipments while playing ‘Jhandimunda’.

Based on secret information West PS police raided at Howrah market area of Battala in Agartala and arrested 5 gamblers.

Along with Rs 2900 cash various gambling items Police seized from the gamblers and brought the arrested 5 gamblers to West PS

However, Police said, such raids will be continued in coming days.
