AGARTALA, Sep 18 (TIWN): Thief caught red-handed while trying to steal rubber sheet to buy drugs after selling the rubber sheet in East Lakshibil area under Bishalgarh PS: The thief has been identified as Rakesh Hossain, S/o- Siraj Mia, resident of Nama para under Bishalgarh PS. It is known the thief went to Biplab Das’s house this morning and while escaping by taking the rubber sheet the house owner, Biplab Das caught him red handed and tied with tree and beaten him up by locals.

Later the news was given to Bishalgarh PS, police rushed to the incident spot and arrested the thief. Sources said that the arrested Rakesh Hossain is addicted to drugs, and to buy drugs he commits such misdeeds. Such an incident in the morning has caused stir in the entire area.
