AGARTALA, Sep 16 (TIWN): Tripura People's Party demanded proper investigation in Jamal Hossain's mysterious death in Sonamura Police custody.

Talking to the media, People's Party leader Prabin Singha said that although it has been claimed that Jamal Hossain died of a heart attack, the question raises why no hospital admission was reported ? 

"Nobody has right to torture anyone in the custody. We demand a proper investigation in the matter and the culprits behind his death should be booked", said Sinha.

A deputation was placed to the DGP Tripura in this regard.
