AGARTALA, Sep 12 (TIWN): Once again, the gang of thieves looted a temple in the Sri Palli area of Dukli Ichabazar. Group of thieves looted gold ornaments worth Rs 6 lakhs, including cash from Trinath temple.

After witnessing the theft on Sunday morning, locals informed the AD Nagar PS. Police rushed to the incident spot and checked CCTV footage, which clearly showed how the thieves entered the temple and looted the items.

The theft incident occurred in Trinath temple on Saturday midnight, centering the theft incident tension generated in the area and also various question raising over the arrangements of security.
