At a certain point it was seen that as soon as BJP's rally came near to CPI-M party office, BJP workers under instruction from behind, had folded its banner just ahead of the violence. Rajib Bhattacharjee, Tinku Roy, Papia Datta, Nabadul Banik, Viki Prasad were seen in the front row.

The folding of the banner eased the route easy for the top leaders to walk faster from the area, so that blame does not come to them.

But the video clarified the "pre-planned" attack evidently.

The attacked newspaper owner also lodged case not against the kariyakartas but against the BJP leaders  Rajib Bhattacharjee, Tinku Roy, Papia Datta.
