AGARTALA, Sep 11 (TIWN): After the media demanded proper investigation in the attack on PB24 case, the total case was handed-over to the Crime Branch but as expected no development came in the last 72 hours and the criminals are roaming free. Not much hope remained for proper investigation from the Crime Branch as earlier lots of cases were handed-over to Crime Branch but hardly justice was received. IAS, IPS, TPS officers are facing tremendous pressure to work independently under CM Biplab Deb. Question arises, what was the need of the Crime Branch here when culprits' faces are evident and exposed ? PB24 team however has decided to go through the legal battle against the criminalism trend as the newspaper earlier also fought in the Court to restore its publication.
