AGARTALA, Sep 10 (TIWN): Sharing a half-truth, Tripura CM Biplab Deb tried to gain public sympathy after his party karyakartas torched media houses, opposition party offices in broad daylight across Agartala.
The video of attack on the BJP member was an exclusive video shared by Tripurainfoway.com and it exposed the clash's origin's glimpses. Just like Dhanpur, BJP members were beaten up after they attacked in CPI-M's rally and the man who received severe injuries by CPI-M party workers' attack was also stone-pelting at the CPI-M party office along with other BJP workers.

Moreover, BJP workers of Udaipur on 7th and 8th Sep declared in facebook that they are going to attack CPI-M and accordingly the clash erupted. After that BJP burnt / destroyed over 50 CPI-M party offices and 3 media houses. Out of the incidents, Agartala incident where BJP members during a rally led by Rajib Bhattacharjee, Papia Datta, Tinku Roy, Nabadul Banik, Raghu Ladh, Viki Prasad, Kalyani Roy set fire across the city, was fully recorded and no action was taken by police.
5 journalists received injuries on 8th September and 1 journalist received severe injuries in BJP's attack.
Question arises, why do the BJP workers go to the opposition rally to disturb ? Attacks on Manik Sarkar and various MLAs are not new in Tripura. Even cabinet Minister NC Debbarma was attacked under the BJP Govt.
