AGARTALA, Sep 10 (TIWN): Amra Bangali party has demanded immediate arrest of the people who were behind the capital city riot on 8th September.

"Violence happened earlier also but this type of incident is the first ever. How can media houses be set on fire like this ? We want immediate arrest of the culprits who vandalized the city", said the party.

The statement came after BJP members had torched various offices, media houses in Agartala on 8th September during a rally. 

The press meet was mainly conducted centering regional issues where the party alleged that Tipra Motha chief is spreading Anti-Bengali sentiments across Assam and Tripura.
