AGARTALA, Sep 10 (TIWN): Like other Indian states, Tripura also observed auspicious Ganesh Chaturthi on Friday but the enthusiasm was lacking due to tensions going on in this state over political turbulence.

Ganesh Chaturthi, a great Hindu festival celebrated in honour of the elephant-headed god, is observed on Friday. For business this is considered as more auspicious occasion.

Also, this year the puja is observed differently due to Covid surge. However, amid the ongoing Covid situation, keeping all the precaution the Puja is being observed in Agartala city.
