AGARTALA, Sep 9 (TIWN): Trinamool Congress held protest rally in Agartala against attack by BJP led miscreants on Media and Journalists on Thursday.

Before starting protest rally TMC held a joining programme in presence of TMC’s leader Ritabrata Banerjee, Sushmita Deb and state TMC leader Subal Bhowmik.

During the program TMC leader Ritabrata Banerjee raised finger on BJP’s Vision Document’s promise of Rs 2000 Social pension, MNREGA 200 days work including Rs 340 wage, Yearly 50,000 jobs, 7^th Pay commission etc. 

Banerjee strongly condemned the attack on Media and said the freedom of press should not be harmed by any means and for that TMC will work.

TMC leaders walked through Agartala city holding playcards demanding exemplary punishment to the attackers.
