AGARTALA, Sep 8 (TIWN): Accusing CPI-M behind political clashes in Dhanpur and Udaipur, BJP held a protest rally in Agartala.
Talking to media, MLA Kalyani Roy claimed that under BJP no violence happened in Tripura but now CPI-M has started attacks on BJP and in protest BJP on road.
However, data shows over thousands of CPI-M families' houses, party offices were burnt, dozens of party workers of CPI-M were killed since 2018 and both in Dhanpur and Udaipur, it was BJP which started the violence. Not only CPI-M but BJP leaders like Prasenjit Chakraborty, then many journalists were attacked after criticizing CM Biplab Deb.
CPI-M however said, in future also any attack of BJP will face a counter-attack.
In Udaipur today BJP stone-pelted at CPI-M programme which erupted the whole clash.
After the incident, Bishalgrah party office of CPI-M was burnt.
