AGARTALA, Sept 7 (TIWN): Criminal husband tried to kill wife and son with sharp weapon, incident took place under Kamalpur PS.

The injured wife was identified as Sita Debnath(35). Family sources said the criminal husband, Bikash Das, attacked on Sita with a sharp weapon, also attacked on her 7 years old son while sleeping.

However, the injured wife was taken to Kamalpur hospital, from where she was taken to Kulai hospital and noticing critical condition the injured wife was referred to GB hospital. The seven-year-old son was slightly injured in the attack.

Family sources said, the couple was divorced several years ago and recently the wife won case against her husband and was under husband’s allowance and it is suspected might be centering the case Sita was attacked. Accused TSR Husband absconded after the murder attempt.
