AGARTALA, Sep 6 (TIWN): On Sunday CM Biplab Deb organised joining programme in Barjala area at Shanitala ground, where after the programme BJP and few Electronics Media publicizing that 961 voters from CPIM families joined BJP, which is totally fake propaganda. Such has been alleged by CPI-M .

Reacting on this, a CPI-M leader said, BJP miscreants since last 48 hours before starting the Joining programme threatened work-class poor people to attend Biplab Deb’s joining programme.  He further said that mainly Anganwadi workers, REGA workers, Ashakarmi, those who fall under Job cards were threatened continuously that if they don’t attend CM’s Joining programme then their ‘Job Card’ will be slashed. 

Amid such threats the ground was not fulfilled by at least 50% people, said CPI-M. CPIM strongly condemned BJP for spreading such fake propaganda to mislead people.
