AGARTALA, Sep 5 (TIWN): BJP's luring Pre-poll Promises of ‘Permanent Solution’ to 10,323 teachers turned into ‘Zero Solution'. The terminated teachers held a protest in Agartala led by JMC on Teacher's day marking the day as 'Black Day'.
Talking to media JMC members said, "The teachers have been going through miserable conditions since they lost their jobs. On Teacher’s Day when other teachers are celebrating ‘Teacher’s Day’ in Schools state-wide, the 10,323 teachers who had played vital role on students' lives for long years today are on road".
JMC teacher, Kamal Deb said, "Teachers should be on Schools, not on road. Already 106 teachers have died after job-loss and rest of the teachers are going through terrible financial crisis. The Government is also not taking any responsibility for 10,323 teachers.
The terminated teachers walked across the Agartala city as a part of their protest rally on Teacher's Day.
