Biswakarma Puja : Tripura Artisans undergoing huge losses due to the hit of Covid

AGARTALA, Sept 4 (TIWN): Due to COVID wave this year very limited Biswakarma idols were made in comparison to other years, resulted the artisans are going through massive losses.
As the Biswakarma Puja will be celebrated on 17th September this year, but this year idols have been made in very limited numbers, as the demand of idols became less due to Covid situation.
The artisans are going through huge losses. Koreover the equipment prices have skyrocketed. Artisans are not also getting any financial help from Government.
The prices of everything became doubled and few Puja equipment has to be imported from Kolkata. In this condition, the artisans left with no hope to make profit of selling Biswakarma idols.
