Reportedly, Shivani Sarkar Pal, a resident of Chandinamura area married Sukanta Pal 7 years ago after followed by a love affair between them. But few years after marriage, the husband had started forcing Shivani to bring money from her parent’s home.

The housewife was physically and mentally abused by her husband and mother-in-law. It was alleged the housewife was attempted to be killed recently.

Unable to tolerate unbearable Physical tortures, the housewife lodged a case against her husband at Agartala West Women's PS.
