DHARMANAGAR, Sep 2 (TIWN): Dialysis has been stopped, putting the lives of kidney patients in risk under Dharmanagar Dist hospital in North Tripura.
It has been reported that for the last 5 days the Dialysis machines are not working but there is no initiative to repair them.
Throughout the state dialysis centres are in pathetic condition. Miserable condition of GB hospital has also been reported from time to time.
Biplab Deb Govt at first had withdrawn the free-medical-services from all Govt hospitals in state which is a violation of "Right to Life" under the constitution of India and now even after taking high charges in Govt hospitals, basic services can not be given to the patients.
A kidney patient needs 2 dialysis per week (in general) and in Dharmanagar for 5 days dialysis machines are not working.
