AGARTALA, Sep 1 (TIWN): A group of students from MBB and BBMC college placed deputation to the Directorate of Higher Education authority on Wednesday. With the demand of taking their exams on time, the students expressed their dissatisfaction about postponement of Semester exams.
While interacting with media one student said, "According to the guidelines of UGC our exams should have been held by 31st August but it's already September 1 and we don't know yet when our exams will be conducted. No matter if they take exams in online or offline mode, we just want the exams to be completed as soon as possible. Otherwise our future will be at stake."
Students from different colleges across the State are protesting, showing their dissatisfaction after the postponement of Semester exams were declared. The students and guardians are spending their days in distress as the postponement can lead students face difficulties in getting admission for their further studies and cause a year loss.
