AGARTALA, Sept 1 (TIWN): Farmers from every block of Kailashahar sub-division visited to Superintendent of Agricultural office in Kailasahar, Unakoti district with a demand of fertilizer in BLW office.

Reportedly, there is shortage of fertilizer in BLW stores in Kailashahar sub-division resulting farmers are facing various problems in farming. Several times farmers visited BLW stores to bring fertilizers but the officials have been returning the farmers by giving various excuses.

Later with angst few farmers on Wednesday met the officials of Agricultural office and demanded fertilizers to be delivered within two days. They said, if it is not done then the farmers will gherao Kailasahar Agriculture office.
