AGARTALA, Sep 1 (TIWN): Amid the availability of Master Degree Holders, Doctors, Graduates among Tripura MLAs, Biplab Deb whose Graduation Degree is still a mystery has chosen 3 new Ministers and out of them two are only Class-VIII passed. It has raised questions over the BJP Govt's state of mind for Tripura's development. Netizens have trolled Tripura Govt for choosing 8th passed leaders as Ministers. However, BJP argued that quality of leadership comes not from Education. But the question is what is the relation between leadership and a Minister's post. If the leaders had so much leadership quality, why did not the BJP post them in important party positions ? When the state is run by anarchy and maximum departments are in terrible shape, what is the need of extra burdens when BJP has Educated MLAs ? Ultimately, the school drop out Ministers will be paid from public taxes.
At the same time, BJP"s infighting has gone on peak. Many heavyweight MLAs boycotted the oath taking ceremony. Moreover, the new selection has generated infighting inside the Krishnanagar party office also as one of the Ministers appeared as a rebel in the recent time.
Out of the 3 new Ministers, only Majlishpur MLA Sushanta Chowdhury is well-educated and two other MLAs Bhagaban Das and Ram Prasad Pal are Class-VIII passed.
