AGARTALA, Aug 30 (TIWN): Durga puja has turned into a culture of looting public money 'by force' by the Clubs.

Due to Covid-19 last year though people got some relief from high demands of donations but the culture is likely to come back, as this year Covid-19 is now in control and clubs already started preparations for Durga puja.

Either Tripura or Bengal but the culture of high donation demands in Durga puja has continued to pollute the true meaning of the festival and no Govt could control the loot in the name of Durga puja. 

"Khuti Puja" which is considered as the foundation stone laying programme for Durga puja pandals has been observed in various clubs.
