AGARTALA, Aug 28 (TIWN): Sara Bharat Krishak Sangharsha Samiti held a protest against the Farm Bill in Agartala. The protest was also a demonstration to show that the Left wing is in support of farmers' protest.

Addressing the media on the occasion, CPI-M senior leader Pabitra Kar said, "Our message is one and the message is that we are with the farmers. It was decided in our convention that on 26th August when the 9 months of farmers' protest will be completed at Delhi, we will also start a movement to support farmers' protest. Today's protest is also a part of that.......Our protest will continue until the Farm Bill is withdrawn".

CPI-M top leader Jitendra Choudhury led the rally in Agartala. Statewide similar protests were held.
