AGARTALA, Aug 27 (TIWN): Trinamool Congress two heavyweight leaders cum MP Shantanu Sen and former MP Kunal Ghosh set foot in Tripura. However, the state witnessed how a girl student named Solanki Sengupta of MBB College, resident of Joynagar area, Agartala was kidnapped by ABVP members for her attempt to promote Trinamool Student union in the college. Sources said, Solanki was supposed to be promoting the Trinamool student unit in College and ahead of Foundation Day she was kidnapped.

The two heavyweight leaders, former MP Kunal Ghosh and MP Shantunu Sen condemned the kidnap and said “TMC’s organization will become more powerful, the more BJP will lead an attack on us”.

However, even after filing case against ABVP members who were behind the kidnap, so far no arrest has been reported.
