AGARTALA, Aug 23 (TIWN): Matua Federation and Tafashili Federation placed memorandum to Asst High Commission of Bangladesh against Torture on Hindus and demolition of Hindu Temples in Bangladesh.

Reportedly, on 7^th August some Moulabadi miscreants in Bangladesh demolished Hindu Temple, Hindu idols and tortured on Hindus at Khulna district in Bangladesh. Centering the torture on Hindu and plunder the Matua Federation and Tafashili Federation of Tripura placed a memorandum to Asst High Commission of Bangladesh to take strong action against the miscreants.

Over the attack in Matua community in Bangladesh and vandalising Matua community’s idol and temple, Tafashili and Matua Federation condemned the injustice and demand appropriate legal action to be taken against the Moulabadi miscreants. Also, the organization demanded financial compensation to the victim and renovation of the temple in Bangladesh.

The Asst High Commissioner of Bangladesh assured the Matua Committees of Tripura that their demands will be raised to Bangladesh Government.
